Agents, here’s a quick weekly reminder to MAKE YOUR CALLS (I need this reminder myself too sometimes btw). I know getting on the phone and calling strangers or people you haven’t touched base with in a while can feel uncomfortable, but at the end of the day it’s your job, so you have to make it happen. One phone call can mean a listing or an opportunity to help someone find a new home… you never know unless you call!
No matter what level you’re at in your real estate career or how busy you are, the most important thing you can do is have conversations with people. Whether out and about, cold calling, or calling past clients or those people in your sphere. Implementing/time blocking this into your daily schedule is what will push your business forward (more about time blocking and efficiency in this post). It’s definitely a numbers game so don’t feel defeated if your calls take a moment to turn into something—doing this as part of your regular routine WILL start blossoming into business over time. So trust the process… you will be surprised.
And if you ever feel your ego creeping in making you think you’re above cold calls or calling people in your sphere, talk to top producing agents and you’ll find that they are doing this every day, no ifs ands or buts. It can be humbling, but no one is above it, I’m sure of that. If you feel embarrassed or sales-y, just remember—you’re here to give information and possibly help someone in need. So always come from a place of providing service and value. This will shine through to whoever you’re calling—promise!
Think of it this way: What if today could be the day you help someone that needs you? This always makes it easier for me and kind of reframes things a bit. Alright, go make your calls!
xx Farrah

This is the right webpage for anybody who wants to understand this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I really would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a topic which has been written about for a long time. Great stuff, just wonderful.
