Buying Beverly Hills

The word is out! It has been officially announced that my new show, Buying Beverly Hills, will be airing this fall on Netflix! Our new real estate occu-soap Buying Beverly Hills follows my fellow agents and some of our clients within my step-dad Mauricio Umansky’s brokerage, The Agency. 

On the Netflix site, they describe what you guys can expect as the following “Not only will you step into the homes of one of Southern California’s most sought-after areas, but you’ll also meet Umansky’s daughters, Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky, as well as agents Santiago Arana, Ben Belack, Joey Ben-Zvi, Jon Grauman, Brandon Graves, Allie Lutz Rosenberger, Melissa Platt and Sonika Vaid. With a talented group of realtors comes high stakes in LA’s luxury real estate market.”

I’m personally SO excited about this project as I think you all are going to get to know me a bit better and on more of a personal level. Although I’ve mentioned before what it’s been like being a part of my mom’s show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over the last 12 years, I’ve never been a full-time cast member of my own show and let me tell you—it’s a WHOLE different ball game.

It was challenging, fun, stressful, exciting, vulnerable, exhausting, exhilarating—ALL of the things. As a more introverted person who loves my privacy, it was definitely a huge step outside of my comfort zone, which was incredible but also definitely took a toll on me at times. I was hesitant to do the show in the first place—fearful of the spotlight and the potential downsides of what it would mean to have a magnifying glass on ME personally. But, I ultimately decided this could be absolutely amazing for my business, and an opportunity that I might always regret passing up on. So… I did it! I dove right in, had a wild and unforgettable experience, and here we are. It doesn’t even feel real. 

I can’t wait for you guys to learn more about my industry, our growing company The Agency, what it takes to be a real estate agent, the pressures and complexities within the business and within our family dynamic, and, of course, the highlights as well. I had the best time shooting with my step-dad Mauricio, my sister Alexia, my girls Melissa and Allie, and my other friends and colleagues at my office. The show also gets super intimate in terms of my relationship and where I am generally at this stage of my career and life path so it’s a great mix of real estate and personal life that I think you guys will enjoy! 

Anyways, I sincerely hope you guys tune in this fall, and I cannot wait to hear what you all think of it! 🙂
